We are the Boates Family, a radical team of four based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. We came across Fern Cove Cottage, somewhat by chance, mid-2023. Post-pandemic, post-babies, and longing for more time spent immersed in nature - we believe Fern Cove found us, more than we found her. Within moments of meeting, we were captured by her beauty and buzzing with all of the potential we could see beyond the warped dock, outdated fixtures, and bad fake wood paneling from the 1980s.

Over the past year we have worked hard to turn this beautiful property into something even more beautiful, and we are so excited to share it with you. We hope you will be refreshed by a jump in the lake, detoxed by a soak in the sauna, and humbled by the view of the stars while you sit by a crackling bon fire.
